The 1945 Hayes, built at Hayes Manufacturing in Vancouver worked for R.B. McLean in/around the Alberni Valley until it was abandoned at McLean Mill with its sister.
The 1955 Mack B-60S, ws put into service by a contractor named Ken Mackenzie, who was contracted to haul logs for Macmillan-Bloedel's Sproat Lake Division in the 1950s.

The "Model Challenger" project started in 2003 by ADSS Tech Instructor, Bob Waldhaus and john Casanave. Bob Retired in 2005 before the challenger was complete so in 2015 Hank Bakken took on the project and completed it.
The "Model Euclid" was built in 2019/20 by Les Stevens. Les owns the Model Euclid, however, it is stored at the Industrial Heritage Center as its very popular to visitors.
The best thing about the trucks, is that they both drive!
